Thanksgiving Basket Distribution:
Every year, the St. Thomas More Knights of Columbus put together a Thanksgiving baskets containing a turkey with all of the trimmings as well as several other meals for less fortunate families in our community. On, Saturday, November 22, 2008, we assembled our annual Thanksgiving baskets for 8 families in our community which were overflowing with food. After shopping at Waldbaum’s of Hauppauge, the St. Thomas More Knights of Columbus assembled and delivered the baskets to the families. This annual charitable event is extremely rewarding as we obtain the names of families from the St. Thomas More Outreach Program who without the support of the parish outreach and our council, may not be as fortunate as others to enjoy a Thanksgiving feast.
